Calala Island Tour: Breakfast Bar, Beach Swing, Pizza Oven & Sustainable Resort Walkthrough
Justin Vacula of the Hurdy Gurdy Travel Podcast shares another look around Calala Island in Nicaragua after finishing breakfast.
He shows the shaded open-air bar area, where guests are encouraged to enjoy breakfast mimosas, and explains how this same space also serves as the dinner venue, including a special buffet night with music and entertainment.

He then visits the beach swing area, discusses how the tides impact the shoreline, and shares more views of the island’s scenery, activities, and layout. The tour also includes a look at the cooking class area, tropical plants, fruit, flowers, a well with quality water, and the island’s sustainability efforts.
