Rove Launches Transfer Partnership With Japan Airlines, Expanding Global Redemption Opportunities

New York, NY — March 2, 2026 — Rove, the first universal airline mile, today announced a new transfer partnership with Japan Airlines (JAL) Mileage Bank, significantly expanding global redemption opportunities for its rapidly growing member base.

This partnership marks another milestone in Rove’s continued growth following the launch of Loyalty Eligible hotel bookings and its mission to make transferable rewards accessible to everyone.

Expanding Access to a Premier Global Airline

Japan Airlines, Japan’s flag carrier and a member of the Oneworld alliance, operates an extensive global network with service from nine U.S. airports. Through Oneworld and additional airline partnerships, JAL provides access to flights across nearly every major international market.

Under the new partnership, Rove Miles transfer to JAL Mileage Bank at a 1:1 ratio, consistent with Rove’s other airline transfer partners.

To celebrate the launch, Rove will offer a limited-time transfer bonus promotion, allowing members to receive additional 50% more JAL miles when converting Rove Miles through 11:59 p.m. EST on March 31st, 2026.

“Japan Airlines has one of the most respected loyalty programs in the world, and this partnership reflects our focus on delivering high-value, globally relevant redemption opportunities,” said Carissa Rawson, Director of Travel and Marketing at Rove. “Our goal is to make Rove Miles as powerful and flexible as possible, and adding JAL strengthens our ability to connect members to premium international travel experiences across both Asia and beyond.”

Strengthening Rove’s Transfer Network

With this addition, Rove now offers 14 transfer partners, including leading global airline and hotel loyalty programs such as:

  • Aeromexico Rewards

High-Value Redemption Opportunities

JAL Mileage Bank is widely regarded as one of the most valuable airline loyalty programs worldwide, offering competitive redemption rates across both its own network and partner airlines.

Members can redeem miles for trans-Pacific flights at notably favorable rates, including premium cabin redemptions that often require significantly fewer miles than competing programs. JAL miles can also be used across an extensive partner network, further expanding redemption flexibility.

Continuing Rove’s Mission

The new partnership reinforces Rove’s commitment to building a truly universal rewards currency that empowers consumers to earn and redeem miles across travel ecosystems without traditional barriers.

As Rove continues to expand its partner network, the platform aims to further increase accessibility, flexibility, and value for modern travelers worldwide.

About Rove: Rove is the first travel rewards program to provide a flexible way for users to earn and redeem miles without the need for a travel credit card. Users can accumulate Rove Miles by booking flights and hotels through the platform, including its groundbreaking Loyalty Eligible feature, as well as by shopping with over 13,000 partner merchants via shopping portal or browser extension.
